Number 1 Walkie Talkie for Home and abroad on Holiday - Ive owned the terrain 550 and latitude 100, but neither of them is as good as this. This unit has so many channels compared to the at and can used at a greater distance then them units aswell. Not so powerful!! - The only other (I assumed impartial) review of this product rated it so highly, I bought it without hesitation. Performance is, however, disappointing. It falls significantly short of the expectation created by the description long-range". Tested over open countryside, we found that reception begins to break up at around 0.5km....which represents no real Performance over the old BT Free...
