Maybe a decent phone would be better - I bought the iPAQ to replace my deceased Palm Tungsten E which I liked, but the new Tungstens have had reports of unreliability. On the positive side the iPAQ syncs easily my Windows XP computer, and was easy to connect with my domestic WiFi, though operating the internet on a small screen will always be a limited and frustrating experience. However I find the Windows Mobile 6 operating sys...

iPAQ 212 overall rating is average - I purchased this iPAQ two weeks ago and my overall rating on this product is average though not too disappointing. I agree with previous writers that the sensitivity of the touch screen is good enough however you will a used to it after a while. The Screen is big and bright while Wi-fi is fast. My only problem with this product is its compatibility with some of the...

IPAQ 214 day to day - Yes it's big and if you can get by that point it's very quick. It will fit in an average shirt pocket. It becomes more useful when you consider third party applications such as a back up program as it doesn't have one built in. Best to keep that data safe. I to use an ipaq 2200 but this is bluetooth more connectable with bluetooth and WiFi. When connected it's possible to read most w...

User friendly - I have had my 114 for about fortnight and so far have had no problems with it. It is easy to use and syncs well with Vista / Outlook with no conflicts. have The only gripe I have (and it is a small one beileve me) is that so far I have found no way to colour code the appointments in the diary. A useful piece of kit!...

Poor Screen - This product is let down by a very poor screen. The problem is with the sensitivity which is not as good as it ought to be (the 'touch' sensitivity is not as good competitive the 214's forerunner, the 4700). This makes using handwriting recognition software very difficult. It is also worth noting that the current Amazon price is not competitive with the price being quoted by HP....
