Brilliant! - Great 'fit' with HP the pavillion with pocket media drive bay (no cables required). in use, only loses one star on price compared with other compact portable drives of similar capacity.......... but I guess that's the price of an HP badge and the convenience of the direct plug in to the media bay on some of HP's machines. Recommended....
You can't go wrong for that price - Six years ago, I bought an external Sony DVD writer for £200, which has now finally given up the ghost after me hammering it relentlessly with almost daily use. pocket media - An excellent piece of kit. Slips nicely into the slot on my Touchsmart PC. Software preloaded and was up and runnig quickly. Usuing Vista backup it regularly updates and when I go away it will slip out of the slot and can be stored remotely or used with another PC. Efficient, compact and reliable....
Excellent value - Got this because I wanted to produce quality looking CDs for a multimedia application program Nero, wrote. It puts the icing on the cake. Real easy to set up and use. Software that comes with it is Nero, so I was well used to using this program, but it just gets easier. There are various times to lazer printing a disc dependent on how much goes on to it and the quality of the burn. ...
