Brilliant! - Great 'fit' with HP slimline pavillion with pocket media drive bay (no cables required). Faultless in use, only loses one star on price compared with other compact portable drives of similar capacity.......... but I guess that's the price capacity.......... an HP badge and the convenience the direct plug in to the media bay on some of HP's machines. Recommended....

Hot Plug - I bought one of these drives to work with my HP media centre. You just plug in to the front loading bay and up it comes. Have asked for another for Christmas. In fact would be happy with two more. Beats changing CD's or DVD's over....

Unreliable for backing up purposes. Do not trust it! - After five minutes of use, my brand new Media Drive blew. Now it is dead as DVD/CD door nail with no power coming through it. I suggest backing up very important files and camera pictures onto a DVD/CD disc. Do not trust it back up unloosable family home movies....

pocket media - An excellent piece of kit. Slips nicely into the slot on my Touchsmart PC. Software preloaded and was up and runnig quickly. Usuing Vista backup it regularly updates and when I go away it will slip out of the slot and can be stored remotely or used with another PC. Efficient, compact and reliable....
